Elvira is a 14oz vampire mug with silver earrings (glazed with 22K white gold). She is a misfit due to glaze “pin-holing” (see picture). Over time, water may seep into the clay through the pinholes, potentially allowing for bacterial growth if the mug is not washed and dried thoroughly after each use. I have never had an issue with this, but it is something to be aware of.

Hand wash only. Not microwave safe (due to the silver).
