Hi everyone!

If you're used to seeing my pottery here, this might be a little unexpected, but I am so proud to introduce my new children's book, Griefosaurus. Coming out on September 15th, 2026, the story explores themes of loss and grief and is loosely inspired by my own childhood, and my father’s death when I was 5 years old. It means the world to me to finally share it. You'll find more details and a pre-order link below. Thank you as always for your wonderful support!

A children’s book about Grief

A gentle, empowering story that helps children understand and talk about grief — and reminds them that healing begins with curiosity and kindness.

Josie loves dinosaurs, digging for fossils, and playing “Lava Monster” with her dad. But when an accident turns her world upside down, a heavy feeling follows her everywhere — a creature she can’t seem to escape.

With Grandpa’s gentle guidance, Josie learns her monster’s name: Griefosaurus. Together, they discover that grief isn’t something to hide or chase away. It’s something to understand, listen to, and care for — like a friend who needs a little space and kindness.

Griefosaurus

Through this tender and hopeful story, Griefosaurus helps kids and families:

  • Put words to big feelings like sadness, anger, and confusion

  • See that grief changes shape but doesn’t have to stay scary

  • Understand that healing happens when we stay curious and connected

Perfect for parents, educators, school counselors, and therapists supporting children, this children’s book about grief opens doors to meaningful conversations about love, loss, and resilience.
